Hi MattybubWas just listening to some of your tracks again and thinking (amongst other things)about how your guitar was one of the few things which stayed with you (most of the time anyway!). I recognised a chord sequence which I taught you, but you play it so much better. Good tunes, sweetheart.xxxx

hey ya bruv. just had a nice evenin of chilling out down the hoe with a few folk, playing with fire poi and drinking cheap cider (reminded me some what of the time you and steve taught me about nunchuk's). a mellow way to finnish a mellow day, ending in a smoke with a few buddys and some interesting conversation..... now the point in all this is that a mate asked me about you, then thought he might have said something wrong (thinkin it may be as touchy subject) and stopped speaking. well it finally dawned on me what this feels like and quite simply its like gettin to the end of the first book in a series and being thrown into the next.... you know how authors always seem to start out in a completely diffrent place where everythings diffrent at the start of book 2. but then you read on a bit and start being introduced to familier characters and things do start to follow the plot again.... i guess what im trying to say is that the first 'book' in my life was awesome and thankyou for your part in shaping it, but now it apears to have ended (which sucks), things have changed forever that i never thought would, but things do change and flow. you moving on was the final shocker in the book... chapter one in the next part was to say the least scary and chaotic, but now things are finally starting to re-aline and form the next line in the plot. so yeah.... things are going ok. the suns been shining for a few days now and i went for my first swim in the sea in boardies this year today (freeeeezzing!). uni is ticking along quite nicely and overall things are good. just a shame your not there to join in, but then i guess thats how things are now.By the way... just found the re-recording of the long mix you did with carl.... like the alternate ending! very jazzy.all my love as always booooooooooooooooooxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello Mattybub,Well, we weren't destined to scatter at Durrington after all - dense freezing fog put paid to that. Not meant to be at that time/space.We sorted your stuff out today, which brought back memories. Never thought a pair of boots could evoke such a strong presence and so many feelings.I think more than anything, what you left behind were so many friends and family who loved you. Takes someone special to do that.Love you alwaysMum xxx

We're putting some of your ashes on the Avon at Durrington tonight/tomorrow morning... So the water takes you to the stones where you become an Ancestor... Looked at in the cold light of a frosty morning it seems like a strange thing to do, but that's what the folks who built Stonehenge did, so who are we to argue...Fly Free, my LoveFly Far,We'll meet again,Sometime in the long years,That are left to us,Before the Stars turn to Iron.....
